## Data archiving in accordance with GoBD

This multifunctional software is particularly useful when legally compliant data archiving also enables the decommissioning of existing legacy systems. However, the tool can also be an indispensable aid when it comes to documenting current business transactions.

## Archiving documents

Opti.List® is a highly flexible, multifunctional software programme. This means that business requirements can be implemented quickly and tailored to individual needs using powerful tools that are already included in the standard version. Consolidating data from a heterogeneous IT environment is therefore no problem.

## Archiving data

Opti.List® acts as an analysable data archive provided that the import formats also consist of analysable data. Examples of this include: data from MS Excel, CSV files or database tables via ODBC. Making the data from the production systems available remains one of the few tasks that you, as a user, need to carry out as part of the project.

## Analysing data

Analysable data is available from database tables or via CSV files, in the format that the inspector wishes to analyse using IDEA. The analysis software is also available as an option on the inspector’s workstation for Z1/Z2.

## Output data

The files and transaction descriptions prepared for the tax audit are archived on a data storage medium in a non-modifiable format and retained for audit purposes \(Z3\). The analysable data archive complies with the statutory requirements.

## Procedural documentation

Procedural documentation detailing the migration of data to the external data archive rounds off the project. This documentation is compiled and updated on an ongoing basis throughout the project and will be handed over as a PDF file upon completion of the project.
