# UNIT4 Business Software GmbH integrates the Opti.Tax e-balance sheet solution
## Opti.Tax software integrated into the financial accounting software

UNIT4 Business Software GmbH and hsp Handels-Software-Partner GmbH have entered into an integration partnership for the electronic transmission of annual accounts data. hsp is a software developer and a leading provider of compliance solutions. Opti.Tax, hsp’s e-balance sheet software, has been integrated into UNIT4’s financial accounting software under the name UNIT4 E-Bilanz. This partnership enables continuous further development and adaptation in line with changes to statutory regulations.

The UNIT4 E-Bilanz software transmits the balance sheet and profit and loss account to the tax office in the prescribed taxonomy. Following validation and a plausibility check, the data can be submitted electronically at the click of a mouse. This submission will become mandatory from the start of the financial year following 31 December 2012, following the amendment to the Income Tax Act.
