Taxonomy integration

The module contains the official taxonomy for minimum tax reporting published by the BZSt. This ensures that all items and fields are recorded in a standardised manner and are fully compliant with the statutory requirements.

Live validation

As you enter your data, the software automatically checks whether the information you have entered is plausible or whether any required fields are missing. This allows you to concentrate on your work whilst being confident that your submission meets the requirements.

Data processing and structure

Group-consolidated data, effective tax rates, profit and tax figures by jurisdiction – this module helps you capture and organise all the necessary data. Furthermore, the workflow is streamlined through task allocation, progress reports and version control.

Submission to the tax authorities

Once the data set is complete and has been validated, you can conveniently submit the report directly to the tax authorities via the integrated interface – it’s simple, secure and seamless.

Compliance and Process Integration

The module works both on its own and seamlessly with other Opti.Tax modules. So, if you are already using Opti.Tax, you can integrate Pillar 2 into your existing compliance environment. You will have access to reporting, audit trails, archiving and workflow functions just as you are used to with Opti.Tax.

As a general rule, groups of companies with consolidated turnover of at least €750 million in at least two of the four preceding financial years are required to file a report. Whether the report is filed at the level of the parent company or a local entity depends on the structure and the safe harbour provisions.

Opti.Tax helps businesses to,

  • to record all relevant Pillar 2 data in a structured manner,
  • to prepare the minimum tax return in accordance with the BZSt’s guidelines and
  • to send the report directly to the BZSt electronically.

Typically, the following are required:

Yes. Opti.Tax is updated regularly to reflect new OECD guidelines, EU directives, national regulations and the technical requirements of the BZSt.
