It connects its members with potential collaboration partners and also offers discounts on tools designed for day-to-day practice management: In this way, it contributes to the consolidation and strategic direction of the consultancy sector and offers a particular advantage – especially for small and medium-sized firms – that is otherwise only available in large firms.

Procedural documentation can open up new business areas and business models for accountancy firms, thereby offsetting the loss of revenue. After all, the sector is undergoing radical change. Many tasks, such as financial accounting, can be partially automated, and competitive pressure is mounting. With strong partners and modern tools, tax advisers are positioning themselves for the future. „Procedural documentation is the ideal starting point for establishing a service offering in process documentation and, building on this, business consultancy for clients within the firm,“ explains Paul Liese.
Initial contact between hsp and DEUSEG took place in August 2020; by October 2020, the partnership was in place and operational. Members of the co-operative receive the Opti.Tax taxonomy software at a reduced rate, along with a service package designed to help them establish procedural documentation within their practice and offer this to clients as part of their service.
