Several software manufacturers and service providers in the tax sector have launched the Tax Tech Alliance. The alliance aims to integrate its software tools and portfolios seamlessly. To this end, interfaces are being set up and joint ideas developed. Among the participants is kontool, the well-known tool for managing corporate key figures. On the programme „hsp live um 11“, Managing Director Benjamin Panke explained why his company is involved in the Tax Tech Alliance.
Benjamin is the managing director and shareholder of kantiko GmbH, the company behind kontool. The software for management accounting systems provides a simple overview of all key business indicators. This facilitates straightforward planning of performance, finances and balance sheets. The Tax Tech Alliance brings together software developers who specialise in the tax consultancy sector. What does this mean for kontool’s role? Benjamin explains that kontool has established itself in the field of analysing company and client data. As such, there is already a collaboration with kanzlei.land, BMD and WIADOK.
It is worth emphasising that kontool presents company data in a clear and accessible way. This means that it is not only experienced tax advisers who can understand the analyses, but clients in particular. Benjamin describes his own product as a sort of compass that tax advisers can place in their clients’ hands. Thanks to the processed data, clients can identify at an early stage what lies ahead for them or their business – and react in good time. ‘Processed’ here means that the data is presented graphically in a way that is clear and intuitive. Ultimately, the aim is to minimise the effort required of both firms and clients.
Tax Tech Alliance helps law firms and software developers
Here, Benjamin discusses the initial benefits he sees from being a member of the Tax Tech Alliance. In general, he values the many ideas that come from his colleagues in the TTA. He is particularly enthusiastic about WIADOK and the team behind it, who have succeeded in presenting the company’s data in a uniquely meaningful way. The kontool team It draws on 20 years of experience in management accounting, which is why a highly technical approach prevails there. Through the TTA, it gains fresh impetus and new perspectives, which ultimately take the clarity of the processed data to a whole new level.
A partnership with WIADOK makes sense, as this company specialises in client communications. These communications can be supplemented with specialist articles. Alternatively, the recipient’s company data can be analysed to highlight trends. News concerning one’s own company is, of course, far more interesting than random court rulings and legislative changes. The recipient’s interest increases, client communications are read more frequently and with greater attention – and everyone involved benefits.
Mutual referrals take the pressure off clients
Benjamin sees a further advantage in the wider range of services that each provider can offer. Previously, law firms had to be turned away if they requested a service not included in the company’s portfolio. Today, Benjamin can confidently recommend hsp when it comes to documentation, for example. This is also a major advantage for law firms, as it enables them to be recommended further tools that are compatible with one another. Instead of a tedious search, tax practice firms are provided with a seamless microcosm of specialised tools.
