In 2011, we took the first steps towards a project that continues to shape our work to this day: the development of Opti.Tax, a tool for creating and submitting the e-balance sheet based on an XBRL structure. XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) is a standardised language that enables financial data to be recorded in a structured manner and submitted to the tax authorities. This standardisation and the requirements set by the tax authorities have enabled companies to present their balance sheets and annual accounts in a uniform format.

Over the past 13 years, we have Opti.Tax continuously developed to ensure it always meets the latest e-balance sheet requirements and guarantees efficient and accurate data transmission. Our work has made it easier for countless companies to compile and submit their financial reports in a standardised manner.

Last week, we received some significant news: the final version of the ESRS taxonomy, developed by the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG), is now available. This taxonomy, which is of great importance for sustainability reporting, represents the next milestone in our development work with Opti.Tax there.
