hsp Handels-Software-Partner GmbH and Dr. Merten + Steinke GmbH are launching the first team solution to complement Opti.Tax Before / Task management helps teams to create a Procedural documentation or a record of procedures.

The basis is the taxonomy-based product Opti.Tax A documentation solution from the Hamburg-based software company hsp. It enables the execution and monitoring of documentation tasks to fulfil compliance-related requirements, such as those under GoBD and GDPR. It also integrates with the Taskplace extension from the Siegen-based workflow specialist mertensteinke to enable targeted task management.

Compliance with legal requirements regarding the handling of data and supporting documents is a task that affects all businesses and places an additional burden on day-to-day operations. Supporting such tasks through an IT solution is therefore advisable for reasons of efficiency. However, it is also recommended as part of a digitalisation strategy to ensure that the necessary measures are organised, complete, secure and verifiable.

Opti.Tax Doku now provides businesses and data protection officers with a simple and efficient solution for documenting procedures in accordance with GoBD and for compiling the record of procedures required under the GDPR. hsp already offers similar solutions on the market for e-financial statements and archiving. „We have consistently applied our innovative and tried-and-tested taxonomy approach here to provide our customers with easy-to-understand technical structures for their tasks,“ says hsp Managing Director Paul Liese.

New: Workflow component

A new feature is the support for documentation-related tasks via a workflow component. The system interacts with the optional taskplace.de extension to delegate tasks locally and monitor their status. Traceability and adherence to time limits are key benefits. „It was important to us to offer our customers a straightforward extension here, one that can be used virtually immediately and without any additional effort as a managed service in a German cloud,“ adds Dr Udo Merten, Managing Director of mertensteinke.

With around 100,000 users, hsp’s products are already successfully established in the market. The new solution, comprising Opti.Tax Doku and Taskplace, is available with immediate effect. An attractively priced QuickStart package is specifically aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as external data protection officers, tax advisers and auditors who serve multiple clients.
