Hamburg, 25 September 2020 – With the With version 20.2 of its Opti.Tax taxonomy software, hsp Handels-Software-Partner GmbH is introducing new features to enable users to work even more quickly and efficiently. Key components include the cloud-based Bitrix24 application, the ability for multiple people to work on process chains in parallel within the same project, and the creation of condensed sub-reports thanks to new filters. Opti.Tax 20.2 has once again demonstrated that customer requirements are a top priority for hsp.

„The release of version 20.2 is particularly important for users who need to submit e-balance sheets to the tax authorities,“ explains Paul Liese, Managing Director of hsp Handels-Software-Partner GmbH. „This is because the minimum version of the Elster Rich Client (ERiC) required for use was updated to a new version by the tax authorities at short notice, and the update to Opti.Tax 20.2 now ensures that data can continue to be submitted. We are delighted that we have once again been able to demonstrate our flexibility.“

hsp Handels-Software-Partner GmbH has developed the software Opti.Tax Developed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises. It helps organisations to comply with their accounting-related electronic obligations whilst simultaneously creating added value for the business by helping to increase profitability and efficiency.

As on previous occasions, hsp has taken user feedback on board for this update: this relates, firstly, to project management with cloud integration for Bitrix24, which many law firms use to communicate with their clients. Version 20.2 of Opti.Tax now offers an interface to Bitrix24, enabling users to send questions, notes and documents.

Furthermore, the new version enables several staff members to work on the same project – a particularly useful feature for larger law firms and companies. These new features are complemented by optimisations in the Documentation, E-Balance Sheet, Federal Gazette and Balance Sheet Rating modules, as well as a filter function based on relevance, which makes it possible to create condensed sub-reports. With the new version, paid access is also being extended to a Tax Compliance Management System It is possible that HSP developed it in collaboration with an external partner.

With Opti.Tax, users can effortlessly import their data from source systems, enrich it and submit it electronically. The taxonomies – which are often difficult to read and change every year – are kept up to date and can be populated easily and conveniently. hsp is fully committed to user-friendly operation with a wide range of functions that support the creation of accurate electronic data records.

hsp is planning the follow-up release 20.3 for the end of 2020, with a focus on ICS and transfer pricing documentation.
