Procedural documentation
Target audience: This training course is aimed at staff members who are responsible for process documentation. It will equip them to set up a centralised documentation system using the software Opti.Tax to develop and use effectively.
Requirements: Although a basic knowledge of Opti.Tax is an advantage, it is not essential for attending the training course. The training course will be designed to offer added value to both beginners and experienced Opti.Tax users.
Scope: In this training course, participants will learn how to create and complete procedural documentation. They will be introduced to the various functions of Opti.Tax so that they can produce comprehensive and accurate documentation of their workflows.
Objective: The main aim of the training course is to enable participants to create procedural and process documentation efficiently using Opti.Tax. By using the software, they will be able to produce clear and structured documentation that complies with legal requirements.
Basic training in Opti.Tax

Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of business administration
Scope: The basic training course is aimed at participants who simply wish to move from the balance list to the e-balance sheet. The process of creating an e-balance sheet is demonstrated using a standard end-to-end scenario, from importing the balance list to sending the e-balance sheet.
Objective: Participants will be able to successfully create, check and send an e-balance sheet themselves. They will be able to carry out and check this process independently. They will be able to analyse and export data.
Support training in Opti.Tax

Duration: 1 day
Target audience: Consultants, Support Staff
Contents: OTRS, FAQ section, ticket creation, licence tool, directory structures, fault analysis (reproduction), Troubleshooting, bug reports, validation errors (Top 50), partner responsibilities (connector testing), paid support, technical guide, licensing and updates
Prerequisite: Attendance at the OT-M-01 and OT-M-02 training courses (support staff only)
Scope: The aim of the support training is to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction by establishing a professional first-level support service at the OEM partner’s premises.
Objective: Participants can manage their own clients themselves.
Workshops – Best Practice
Identifier: OT-M-04
Duration: 1 day
Target audience: Users, administrators, consultants, developers, support staff
Contents: Workshops on various topics, best-practice mapping, validation and other specific topics; validation errors, integration, mapping templates, administration (database administration, rollouts, maintenance/updates) and the development of sample cases
Prerequisite: Depending on the workshop, attendance at the OT-M-01 training course is a minimum requirement
Scope: Depending on the client’s requirements, the best-practice workshop can cover specific topics such as mapping, validation or integration.
Objective: Participants will be able to apply the knowledge gained in the workshop when working with the e-balance sheet system.
Opti.Tax: Technical Fundamentals

Objective: Participants will gain specialist background knowledge on the e-balance sheet.
Up-to-Date – Everything is new

Contents: Up to date with each release, news, new features, refresher training, partner recertification (annual) and examination
Prerequisite: Attendance at the Opti.Tax Basic Training Course OT-M-01
Scope: The ‘Up-To-Date’ training course is aimed at participants who wish to refresh their knowledge of e-balance sheets. The course is also a prerequisite for the annual recertification of OEM partners. The ‘Up-To-Date’ training course and recertification can be scheduled to take place on the same day.
Objective: Participants will learn about new features in the current release.
Expert training in Opti.Tax
Identifier: OT-M-07
Duration: Half a day
Target audience: Developer
Contents: Developer training, „brandings“, connectors, architecture, command-line parameters and licensing
Prerequisite: At least attendance at the OT-M-01 training course
Scope: The developer training course presents the options for integrating the E-Bilanz system into the partner solution and covers all technical aspects relating to this.
Objective: The developer acquires the fundamentals of branding and the user interface.
Data validation
Identifier: OT-M-08
Duration: 1 day
Target audience: Staff who wish to check data from the data archive or generate the description standard from CSV files.
Contents: Checking archived data from the data archive, importing and reviewing CSV files, and generating data in accordance with the description standard. Checking individual or multiple archiving objects as well as processed Z3 data containers. Night-time modification of field definitions (field name, field type), provision of data for the tax office’s external audit in accordance with Z3 (data transfer). The seminar includes extracts from the basic training course on data analysis (OL-S-04).
Prerequisite: None.
Scope: Data validation of archived data, modification of field definitions, creation of the description standard.
Objective: Participants can check data using Opti.View and generate the description standard.
GDPdU Viewer
Identifier: OT-M-09
Duration: 1 day
Target audience: Staff who wish to review and analyse any GDPdU data and verify the plausibility of the data.
Contents: Verification of any GDPdU editions; quick and easy integration of BI functionality; verification of processed Z3 data containers; subsequent modification of field definitions (field name, field type). Analyse ad hoc company data, independently answer decision-relevant questions using in-memory zoom technology, and create dynamic reports and charts.
The seminar includes extracts from the basic data analysis training course (OL-S-04).
Prerequisite: None.
Scope: The GDPdU Viewer can be used for: ad hoc analysis, data cleansing, data selection, data management, data format checking, data migration, data plausibility checks, data quality checks and data validation, as well as gap analysis
Objective: The user can analyse data using the GDPdU Viewer.
Basic training

Contents: Carry out and verify archiving; types of archiving (automatic archiving, re-archiving); validation of data (checksum calculation, field analysis), carrying out checks, data-related error analysis and resolution, linking objects, masking fields, subsequently amending field definitions, assessing statutory minimum requirements, transferring data to Excel, IDEA or ACL, preparing for burning

Objective: Users can carry out and check archiving processes themselves. They can analyse and export data.
IT training
Identifier: OL-S-02
Duration: 2 days
Target audience: Administrators, system administrators
Contents: Administrator’s areas of responsibility (derived from the hsp concept workshop): Installation of Opti.List on the server and on workstations; installation and maintenance of the Progress database, optimisation options, file and folder structure in Opti.List; retrofitting of components and workstations, as well as server changes. Basic structure of Opti.List; creation of planning records; assignment of user rights; master data management; understanding and correctly setting parameters; handling different import formats; setting DMS parameters; defining validation rules.
Prerequisite: A basic knowledge of Opti.List is an advantage, but not essential.
Scope: Basic training on installing Opti.List or follow-up training following the implementation of Opti.List
Objective: The administrator can configure the basic settings in Opti.List and within the components themselves, and manage an existing Opti.List system.
Opti.List training: Creating print templates
Identifier: OL-S-03
Duration: 1 day
Target audience: Administrators, users
Contents: Structure and programme architecture of Monarch; basic functionalities in Monarch; creation of print templates in .txt/.pdf formats; testing print templates in Monarch; special cases: archiving of dynamic fields/lists, external reference relationships; Basics: report window, table window (auditor view in table form – linking, sorting, selecting, hiding, inserting new fields), totals window; integration into Opti.List, template validation

Introductory Course in Data Analysis
Identifier: OL-S-04
Duration: 1 day
Target audience: Divisional management, core commercial functions (controlling, reporting, internal auditors, executive assistants)
Contents: Data transfer from Opti.List or Opti.View: Importing various data sources into InfoZoom, visualising data (views, data quality, formats, selection via value lists, selecting data directly in InfoScape, value lists, AND/OR selection, sorting, search and replace, navigation and queries); Analysing data and extending InfoScape (inserting attributes and attribute groups, formulas, references, summarisation and classification, example tasks); Charts and reports, data output as a report or Excel file, saving analysis results as a protected file (FOP), template (FOT) or work file (FOX), handling InfoZoom files in Opti.List
Prerequisite: Attendance at the OL-S-01 training course for use with Opti.List
Scope: Regardless of sector or business area, InfoZoom can be used for the following applications: ad hoc analysis, data cleansing, selection, management, format checking, migration, plausibility checking, quality assurance and verification, as well as gap analysis.
Objective: Users can analyse data archived in Opti.List using InfoZoom.
Advanced Training in Data Analysis
Identifier: OL-S-05
Duration: 1 day
Target audience: Divisional management, core commercial functions (Controlling, reporting, internal auditors, executive assistants)
Contents: advanced data analysis (image references, inserting links, time functions, analysis cubes, cross-tables, example exercises); Highlighting using colour coding, data links (links and joins); merging data and analysing linked tables, handling InfoZoom files in Opti.List
Prerequisite: Attendance at the OL-S-01 training course for use with Opti.List, OL-S-04
Scope: Regardless of sector or business area, InfoZoom can be used in the following areas: ad hoc analysis, data cleansing, selection, management, format checking, migration, plausibility checks, quality assurance and validation, as well as gap analysis.
Objective: Users can link data archived in Opti.List to InfoZoom and analyse the linked tables. They can also make use of the advanced programme functions in InfoZoom.
Data analysis
Identifier: OL-S-06
Duration: 1 day
Target audience: Staff, departments, branches and customers of a data centre who wish to process data archived in Opti.List.
Contents: Decentralised checking of archived Opti.List data using Opti.View, quick and easy integration of BI functionality, verification of individual or multiple archiving objects as well as processed Z3 data containers, subsequent modification of field definitions (field name, field type), data analysis of encrypted working files at central or decentralised workstations. Analysing ad hoc company data, independently answering decision-relevant questions using in-memory zoom technology, and creating dynamic reports and charts. Provision of data for external audits by the tax authorities in accordance with Z3 (data transfer) at a decentralised location. The seminar includes extracts from the InfoZoom basic training course (OL-S-04). The seminar includes extracts from the Data Analysis basic training course (OL-S-04).
