A young dancer on her way to becoming a champion

Ten-year-old Pia discovered a love of dancing at a very early age. She has been attending hip-hop classes regularly for five and a half years – it’s her passion. Her enjoyment of the dance, combined with her ambition to excel, has now yielded some unexpected early successes. She has persuaded a friend to join her. The two started out as a duo. At Hip Hop Day, they came first. At the North German Championships, they came fifth. At the German Championships, they came sixth – qualifying for the European Championships in Slovenia. And then they said: „Mum, that’s where we want to go.“.

Talent should be nurtured

News of their successes made the rounds in the press. Colleagues at the company were delighted for the young, ambitious talents. Then came a lovely surprise for the pair. The hsp team quickly decided to sponsor the trip. „We’d like to show such determined and ambitious young people that it’s worth sticking at it. Not giving up and putting up a fight when needed.“ He continued: „It’s important to us to support our young staff in particular, to give them the chance to lay the foundations for a bright future with a bit of ambition and hard work, to build something and keep it going.
