The Initiative Mittelstand awards the 2018 IT Innovation Award for particularly innovative IT solutions offering significant benefits to small and medium-sized enterprises. In this category, the expert jury awarded hsp Handels-Software-Partner GmbH the ‘BEST OF 2018’ accolade for its product XBRL.App! The award-winning product impressed the jury and ranks among the top entries in this year’s INNOVATIONSPREIS-IT. The Initiative Mittelstand thus recognises particularly innovative solutions that equip SMEs for a successful digital future.

A perfect combination

The XBRL.App offers features that work in conjunction with the Opti.Tax taxonomy software and facilitates mobile communication between companies and their employees and/or auditors/tax advisers. Currently, the XBRL App supports the ‘E-Balance Sheet’ and ‘Disclosure to the Federal Gazette’ project types from Opti.Tax. The XBRL App is being expanded to include the project types ‘Annual Accounts’ and ‘Documentation’ (Procedural documentation in accordance with GoBD and the GDPR) and DiFin (Digital Financial Report) is currently in development.

About the XBRL.App

The XBRL.App enables projects in the Taxonomy software Opti.Tax to edit on the go. The mobile exchange of information between the preparer and the client also includes an approval and authorisation process within the meaning of Section 87d(3) of the German Fiscal Code (AO), as amended.
