With the recently released version 1.6.4 of the Opti.Tax e-balance sheet solution, hsp Handels-Software-Partner GmbH has introduced new features that not only make the solution more user-friendly for its users, but also enhance security and efficiency.

A guide to e-balance sheets for every situation

Opti.Tax 1.6.4 marks the digital implementation of the widely recognised commentary „E-Balance Sheet: Explanations and guidance on the taxonomy“ has been successfully completed by Stollfuß Medien. The reference work was largely authored by Dirk Bongaerts and Dr Guido Neubeck, experts from one of the „Big Four“ accountancy firms.

The help function in the Opti.Tax e-accounts software is context-sensitive. This means that all users have access to relevant explanations and practical tips at every stage. There is no need to switch between different media or even to pay for advice from a tax adviser.

New: Interview mode

With the implementation of interview mode, Opti.Tax users can now enter master data step by step, using a wide range of pre-selected options in a multiple-choice format. As inaccurate or inconsistent master data is one of the main sources of error, the Opti.Tax e-balance sheet solution carries out a plausibility check at every step. This ensures that users can be confident they are starting the preparation of their e-balance sheet with a flawless dataset.

In addition to a host of minor optimisations, the latest version of Opti.Tax includes a number of further milestones:

  • Live Reporting: Reconciliation Statement
  • LDAP / Active Directory integration
  • Windows 8 support
  • Test client: partnership

We look forward to continuing our collaboration and will keep working to make Opti.Tax even better.
