Today, hsp Handels-Software-Partner GmbH has announced the release date for the ERP reporting solution speed4cell known. With speed4cell Users are provided with an incredibly simple and useful addition to more cumbersome reporting tools.
The technology behind speed4cell
speed4cell is an Excel® add-in that accesses data directly from the ERP database via the .NET Framework Data Provider and the relevant user permissions. Interfaces to the most widely used databases, such as Sage Office Line, Sage Classic Line, Navision® and Unit4 Agresso, are already available. In addition, further interfaces are continually being made available: both as part of ongoing development and in response to specific requests from customers or suppliers.
This is how speed4cell makes Excel shine
The programme does not require the usual steps for importing and exporting data. Values are transferred from the database using additional formulas provided by speed4cell in EXCEL®. The Function Wizard assists with searching for or selecting a function. This allows reports of any complexity to be compiled using a simple modular system.
Unique: The tables can also be displayed in a „Freeze mode“ Save. Any given current state of the dynamic report is then treated as a static XLS document. This means that sending the report and further processing it by users without direct access to the database is no problem.
Once a report template has been created, it can be expanded as required. Tried-and-tested templates can be updated in no time at all simply by adding a formula (for example, for a new accounting period). In addition to the convenience of speed4cell By creating reports, the solution saves the user time.
Certification: A mark of quality
hsp GmbH has successfully obtained product certification for speed4cell as an official Sage add-on solution. Sage confirmed the product’s quality and functionality during the certification process. The intuitive user experience was particularly well received. Through the automated database integration, hsp GmbH ensures that users do not need any IT knowledge to work efficiently and effectively with speed4cell.
