Description
Whether due to an accident, illness or death, a prolonged absence or other reasons – at any time, a company may find itself without staff who possess essential knowledge. In the digital contingency file, you can store important information, specialist knowledge, processes and procedures, arrangements for cover and more, and keep them conveniently up to date.
Developed in collaboration with the law firm Schröder & Partner (Berlin/Stendal)
The impetus for the development came from Andreas Gaebler, a process consultant at Schröder & Partner, and his team. Following an incident involving a client, he and his colleagues recognised the need for a precautionary file. However, the market did not offer a satisfactory software solution. So he turned to hsp – together, they developed a tool that is uniquely rooted in real-world practice. The digital contingency file was born: perfected through collaboration and tested with real clients on real projects.

Why is the „Digital End-of-Life Plan“ such a good deal?
- Staff absences can lead to high costs: disruption to process chains, finding replacements and onboarding new staff, missed deadlines and liability claims
- Often, people in the immediate circle are emotionally unable to make the right, important decisions on the spot
- If a director is unable to carry out their duties, the continued existence of the company may be at risk
- Even when staff with expertise in tax law are absent, there is a risk of immense damage
- Digital emergency files can also be used in positive situations, e.g. during handover procedures, when training stand-ins, for succession planning, when staff take time off, etc.
