What is Opti.View?

Displaying and analysing data in a structured manner – providing data access in accordance with GoBD (Z1, Z2 and Z3) for the tax authorities – that is what Opti.View is all about. The integrated interface to InfoZoom provides you and the auditor with a clear overview, whilst the integrated specialised audit routines – particularly for till data – enable you to analyse critical data records in advance.

What can Opti.View do?

• Creating transparency. Whilst most ERP systems are capable of generating the data, this does not mean that it is transparent to users. Ultimately, this means that business owners often have no idea whatsoever as to the quality of the data that the tax auditor actually sees. And that could potentially prove very costly – and lucrative for the Federal Ministry of Finance.
• Visualising data. Opti.View allows you to analyse this data. A more detailed analysis of the data reveals all potential issues. The software is not only capable of generating data in compliance with legal requirements, but also of visualising the output data. This applies regardless of whether the data is in the GDPdU description standard or in the form of e-balance sheet structural data. You therefore have the opportunity to check what the tax inspector will see. However, the analysis options do not end there. We have integrated the InfoZoom analysis tool into our solution for your benefit.
• Identify inconsistencies. The visual method developed at the Fraunhofer Institute makes all data understandable at a glance. For example, when analysing data covering the past three years, InfoZoom allows you, with just a few clicks, to filter out extreme values (such as maximum or minimum amounts) or inconsistencies from the data jungle, organise these entries and thus identify in no time at all where the tax auditor might uncover grounds for an investigation.
• Analysing and using data. The scope and type of data are irrelevant to the tool. The systematic organisation is derived automatically from the existing data. Users can therefore navigate their dataset completely intuitively and independently. With just a few clicks, search criteria can be combined as required and relevant results identified on the spot. There are therefore no limits to these processes. This automatically gives you the opportunity to use the data for analysis from a business intelligence perspective.
• Keep up to date. As a member of the German Trade Association for Cash Register and Billing Systems in Cash and Cashless Payments (DFKA), we adhere to the motto „With us, into the future with expertise and in compliance with the law“ of Germany’s sole representative body for the cash register trade. The trade association has set itself the goal of standardising cash register and accounting processes. This has led to numerous activities by the association – supported by the Federal Government – relating to cash register taxonomy and procedural documentation. This ensures that cash register data is standardised in such a way that it can be easily analysed using IDEA during tax audits. Furthermore, Opti.View serves as a database for POS data and retains the data until the statutory retention period expires.
