More and more companies are taking steps towards digitalisation – and this also applies to tax consultancy firms. What does the future hold for tax consultants? There is often a shortage of staff who specialise in digital processes.
What is the FAIT training programme?
The Federal Chamber of Tax Advisers has recognised the importance of digitalisation. Consequently, from 2022, tax consultancy firms will be awarding the standardised qualification „Specialist Assistant in Digitalisation and IT Processes“ – FAIT for short. This examination is aimed at tax clerks who have worked in a tax consultancy firm for one year, have a basic understanding of digital processes and wish to enhance their IT skills. But how does a tax consultancy firm prepare its staff for the examination? The Continuing Professional Development Course in Digitalisation Consultancy The course offered by hsp provides the ideal preparation. It comprises 6 modules (spanning 20 lessons covering over 150 topics in 12 hours) on subjects that specialist assistants in digitalisation and IT processes need to master. Best of all, future specialist assistants can learn at their own pace, whenever and wherever they like, via a web browser or mobile app.

Why FAIT?
Tax assistants who undertake further training bring greater added value to tax practices. They can support the practice in implementing, organising and further developing a digital strategy, and ensure seamless data exchange.
