Opti.Tax wins over a Berlin-based banking software provider

Following the conclusion of the contract between G&H Bankensoftware AG (www.bancos.com) and hsp Handels-Software-Partner GmbH, the e-balance sheet tool Opti.Tax will be integrated as an OEM version into G&H Bankensoftware AG’s BANCOS modules and made available to customers. A key requirement for G&H Bankensoftware AG was that the e-balance sheet solution could be deployed in existing Linux server environments.

G&H Bankensoftware AG has been developing and maintaining software modules for the financial sector for 25 years, with a focus on lending and deposit business, and has created comprehensive solutions that offer users a competitive advantage in these highly competitive markets. Another significant advantage of the BANCOS product range is its short time-to-market. All BANCOS products are characterised by an open and modular structure, into which the Opti.Tax tool from hsp GmbH fits perfectly. At the same time, Opti.Tax meets all the functional requirements for the preparation of e-balance sheets, including for banks, and once again proves its universal applicability: it is client-independent thanks to Java (it can be run in a browser on any system) and can be easily integrated into the most common system landscapes.

A successful integration

„By integrating Opti.Tax OEM, we are providing banks with peace of mind and expanding our portfolio to include a powerful tool for tackling the challenges posed by e-balance sheets,“ said Oliver Struck, a member of the Executive Board of G&H Bankensoftware AG.

„By porting our tried-and-tested Opti-Tax solution to Linux environments, we were able to offer G&H a solution for its customers. In addition to the performance of our e-balance sheet solution, this has enabled us to successfully create a further service offering as well as an additional sales market,“ adds Paul Liese, Managing Director of hsp Handels-Software-Partner GmbH.
