For all companies, the following changes will come into effect at the start of the financial year on 1 January 2013 the legal provisions regarding the submission of tax-related data. The Income Tax Act stipulates that the balance sheet and the profit and loss account must be submitted electronically to the tax office. The submission must be made by the deadline in XBRL format using a prescribed taxonomy.

The MegaPlus application®/eBilanz enables annual accounts to be submitted electronically in accordance with the requirements of the Income Tax Act. The taxonomies are adhered to and, following validation and a plausibility check, the data can be sent to the tax office.
