syska GmbH is integrating the e-balance sheet software from hsp Handels-Software-Partner GmbH into its product range.

The E-Balance Sheet since 2013

Under the Income Tax Act, companies must submit their balance sheets and profit and loss accounts electronically to the tax office from the start of the financial year following 31 December 2012. This submission must be made using a prescribed taxonomy in order to meet the authorities’ requirements within the specified timeframe. Many companies are currently switching to new financial accounting software.

A partnership, integration

hsp Handels-Software-Partner GmbH, a provider of software-based compliance solutions, has developed the Opti.Tax software for transmitting electronic data to the tax office. The e-balance sheet software has been integrated into the financial accounting solutions syska EURO FIBU 2013 and syskaSQL Rechnungswesen 2013 from syska GmbH. Thanks to this strategic collaboration between the software companies, customers can benefit from ongoing developments, particularly in the event of legislative changes.

The balance sheets can be prepared using the accounting solutions syska EURO FIBU 2013 and syskaSQL Accounting 2013. Once the data has been validated and checked for plausibility, the e-balance sheet data set is generated and can be submitted to the relevant tax office using the syska E-Bilanz add-on package. The data is submitted in the prescribed taxonomy and, thanks to the precise coordination of the software components, meets the tax office’s requirements.
